What is Flex-C-Ment?

It's for good reason that we're called Timeless Paving Limited. We display a traditional (even old-fashioned) respect for our customers, putting your needs right at the heart of everything we do. We have a traditional belief in a job well done and a day's pay for a day's work.

However, we wouldn't have thrived over the last 15 years if it wasn't for our eagerness to embrace new technology and the latest scientific advances.

Such an advance is Flex-C-Ment.

Flex-C-Ment is a polymer-modified, cement-like mix ideal for decorating old or new surfaces to simulate stone, tile, brick, slate, and other prohibitively-expensive or difficult-to-fashion surfaces.

Although it is relatively new to the United Kingdom, Flex-C-Ment has been used in America for around 25 years. From the sweltering heat of Florida in August to the icy cold of North Dakota in December, Flex-C-Ment has proved itself to be an incredibly durable material.

However, unlike most durable and hardwearing materials, Flex-C-Ment is also astonishingly versatile. It can be used internally or externally, and applied to almost any clean, debris-free surface: wood, concrete, drywall, ceramic, fibreglass, linoleum, glass... the list goes on.

But the real beauty of Flex-C-Ment is the vast range of effects that can be created by an expert tradesperson experienced in working with this unique and exciting material.

With the intelligent use of a wide variety of pigments, the creative application of a 'design stamper' and a little judicious hand carving, Flex-C-Ment can be made to look like practically any surface - natural stone, brick, exotic rock, slate, granite, sandstone - in almost any style, from the rough and rustic to the slick and modern. The effects are utterly realistic.

Flex-C-Ment is also incredibly lightweight - around half the weight of traditional concrete. This means it can be applied vertically as well as horizontally, plus it can be used on surfaces that would normally need additional reinforcement to support the weight of conventional concrete.

The fact that Flex-C-Ment is so light also means it can be applied and styled with relative speed and ease. And, time being money, this keeps costs down.
