TRADITIONAL PAVING

THE PAVING PROCESS

Step 4: Wash & Seal

The final step in Traditional Pavings Ltd's concrete paving process is the Wash and Concrete Floor Seal which consist itself of two phases, the concrete cleaning and the concrete sealing which leaves a clean concrete paving look.

In warm conditions this can be done the day after formulation, however in cooler times it is necessary to wait a couple of days before continuing with the cleaning and concrete seal coat.

When this can begin the entire site is cleaned with a pressure washer and the antique release agent (secondary colour) is then removed leaving remenants to give a natural stone appearance.

The crack control joints are also cut in at this stage. These are straight diamond blade cuts at necessary intervals over the area to help prevent future cracking. Where possible they are cut within the pattern imprinted concrete design to disguise their existence (picture below).

Wash and Seal

Finally manhole covers are freed, joints are filled with silicone and the entire area is sealed with Traditional Paving Ltd's concrete floor seal when dry producing the perfect clean concrete patio, driveway, etc...

The installation and concrete paving process is now complete.
